Dr. David King is a development economist. Under various contracts with USAID, he has served as Chief of Party of large economic reform projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Serbia. He lives in Sarajevo and has been a resident of Southeast Europe since 1996. He worked previously at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development in Paris, and Citibank in New York, and taught economics at Yale and Rutgers Universities. He also founded and grew a successful apparel manufacturing company in the US. He has consulted on macroeconomic policy and business development throughout Eastern Europe and in West and South Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia. Dr. King holds a Ph.D. in economics from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.
