David Dod has been a career USAID program economist since 1987 with long-term assigments in Egypt, Russia, and Ukraine; extensive short-term assignments in Eastern Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. In USAID headquarters Office of Economic Growth since 2003, Mr Dod provides field support for program assessments and project development at USAID field missions, develops and conducts USAID training activities, and conducts research on donor field activities in the areas of economic policy and governance. Previously he was a senior economist in Federal Reserve Board’s Division of International Finance and Chief (1977-87) of FRB’s Emerging Markets Section. Mr. Dod is one of the authors of the USAID Guide to Economic Growth in Post-Conflict Countries (December 2008) and USAID Activities under GEMAP in Liberia: Impact Assessment Report (July 2008).
