Allyn Moushey is a technical advisor in EGAT's Office of Poverty Reduction. Her work focuses on social protection, safety nets and linking vulnerable populations to economic opportunities. Ms. Moushey joined USAID as a Presidential Management Fellow in 2004, completing rotations in Nicaragua and Bangladesh. She earned her Masters in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis, after completing field work in Mexico's social service system. She has worked as a policy analyst or case manager on a wide range of social issues, including HIV/AIDS, domestic violence, foster care, orphans and vulnerable children, homelessness and housing, developmental disabilities and US welfare reform.
