This course is not intended to be a survey, but rather is intended to provide economic growth officers with a better understanding of 1) a set of key economic topics and issues that they are likely to confront while assigned to post and 2) potential policy or programming responses to those issues and accompanying tools.  This course will also provide a venue for 3) the building of a community of practice among USAID economists.
